Hi! I’m Squareica (square-i-ca). Writing about yourself is so bizarre.

I live in Oakland, CA, with my beautiful family. I recently had my first baby, and boy howdy, what a journey. I should thank him for leading me to make this art for you (and for myself). My work consists of a gel print (made with acrylic paint and a gel pad) with cut-outs from magazine or book pages. I play with just choosing images that speak to me or finding images that represent an intrusive thought, or sometimes a song that speaks deeply to my soul.
